Charlie Kirk’s Widow, Erika, Has Now Become The CEO Of Turning Point USA

By

Turning Point USA has chosen Erika Kirk, widow of founder Charlie Kirk, as its new CEO and board chair. The board voted unanimously on September 18, 2025, following Charlie’s wishes before his death.

The tragedy has sparked a surge of momentum inside Turning Point. The group has fielded over 54,000 inquiries to launch new chapters, twice its previous record, and membership is swelling nationwide. This means Erika will be taking on a vitally critical role inside Turning Point and the larger cultural fabric of American life.

The official Turning Point USA’s statement announcing Erika Kirk as the new CEO and chair of its board.

Erika will also be at the center of new controversies as the United States confronts the first successful assassination of a mainstream figure since John Lennon in 1980, and the political division that inevitably follows such a momentous event.

In her first address as CEO, Erika Kirk pledged to expand TPUSA’s reach and influence. She has said previously her goal is to continue her husbands work with increased intensity: “I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.”
