Peacock Now Has The Most Heartwarming DreamWorks Movie

Here come the water works...

DreamWorks has created some of the most iconic, hilarious, and uplifting animated films of the 21st century.

From How To Train Your Dragon, to Shrek, to Spirit, to Kung Fu Panda, DreamWorks is in no short supply of blockbuster hits. However, no DreamWorks movie has made me laugh and cry like the one newly streaming on Peacock.

If you are looking for a new DreamWorks animated movie that will touch your heart and speak to your soul, look no further…

Streaming as of January 24, 2025, The Wild Robot is now on Peacock.

The Wild Robot, directed by Chris Sanders, who also co-wrote, co-directed and designed characters for How to Train Your Dragon, follows an advanced service robot named Roz, who finds herself shipwrecked on a deserted island. Isolated and alone, Roz must figure out how to adapt to her surroundings, learn to communicate with the wildlife, and figure out her own role in her new reality.

In the process of building relationships with the wildlife on the island, Roz finds herself taking care of and building a parental bond with an orphaned gosling.

Words cannot describe the beautiful journey that this movie takes you on. When I saw this movie, there was not a dry eye in the theater. In a world that so often feels deficient of these virtues, The Wild Robot advocates for kindness, acceptance, forgiveness, and love. This movie also reminds us that we can be more than our programming and our design – we can grow and change into something different and embrace new love and connections from unfamiliar places.

Your Daily Devotional 8/16/2025: We Plan, God Directs

Devotional Message We must master the balance between planning our lives and surrendering to God’s divine direction. Part of being human is having free will—we can choose where we venture, what we pursue, who we invest our time with, what initiatives we undertake, what territories we explore. However, God maintains sovereignty over our actual lives. […]
