Aries

(March 21st to April 19th)

They turn into super creepers.

Aries are naturally curious individuals, and when someone has piqued their interest, they won’t be able to let go until they completely understand why it didn’t or won’t work. Aries need clarity to have closure.

Taurus

They make everything seem suspiciously perfect.

A Taurus’ best revenge is trying to make someone jealous, and they do this by curating their lives to seem so absolutely flawless, there’s not even a hint of doubt that they are totally and completely over you, and thriving without you, as a matter of fact.

Gemini

(May 22nd to June 21st)

They share their passive aggressive opinions on their new blog.

Geminis have as much chill as they do subtlety, which is to say that they have neither. When they’re having a hard time getting over something, their method will be to express it outwardly, and that will sometimes come in the form of a bunch of very obvious online writing, or a new hobby, or a desire to reinvent their lives.

Cancer

(June 22nd to July 22nd)

They cry a lot and send you weird, emotional late night texts and memes.

Cancers are the strangest mix of hyper-emotional and completely hilarious, so when they’re not totally over something, they oscillate between being really dramatic and then sending you a super casual meme like everything’s fine and you’re just here for the lols.

Leo

(July 23rd to August 22nd)

They sporadically reach out to try to get your attention for “important” reasons.

Leos like to find practical and logical excuses to reach out and reconnect. What makes it obvious that it becomes a pattern: there keeps being something to talk about. Oh, did you forget about that bill that sometimes comes to the house we used to share? Did you know that so-and-so was coming to town and wants to see you? An ex Leo will remind you.

Virgo

(August 23rd to September 22nd)

They overthink the breakup to the point that they make themselves sick.

This overthinking usually manifests itself in a host of symptoms, including a strange mix of apparent indifference, bursts of anger here or there, taking their pain out on themselves, or trying to act like you’re BFFs again when you’re clearly not.

Libra

(September 23rd to October 22nd)

They immediately move on to someone who doesn’t seem right for them at all.

Being the sign that rules love, Libras are usually not hurting to find someone else to date. You know that they are still hurting from the breakup not only when they move onto their new relationship at a record speed, but when that person seems totally wrong for them. They’re usually using that person as a coping mechanism, unfortunately, and it’s rare that a Libra rebound lasts for good.

Scorpio

(October 23rd to November 22nd)

They either try to make you jealous, or they flaunt their indifference.

Scorpios are the ones who will be intentionally liking other people’s “sexy” Instagram posts because they know you’ll see it in your feed, or they’ll be the ones that go all “young, wild and free” and pretend that they didn’t even want you anyway.

Sagittarius

(November 23rd to December 21st)

They start philosophizing heartbreak.

When a Sagittarius is hurt, they become analytical. Some would assume that in the aftermath of a breakup, a Sag would be most inclined to pick up and travel the world and follow their dreams, but really what they crave is a deeper understanding of what happened and why they feel so broken.

Capricorn

(December 22nd to January 20th)

They make super obvious references to you on social media.

Capricorns are known for being earnest, so when they have strong feelings about something, it comes across more obviously than they realize. This usually leads them to making “subtle” references to the relationship or why they’re so much more enlightened and better off now that they’ve moved on. (It’s not subtle at all.)

Aquarius

(January 21st to February 18th)

They mourn to themselves then carry on trying to make the world a better place.

Sorry but there’s usually not any one solid way to determine when an Aquarius isn’t over you. They’re going to be as caught up in their businesses and life purposes and 5-year-plans as they were before. You might receive an unsolicited call every now and again, but otherwise, it will be pretty much business as usual (except literally).

Pisces

(February 19th to March 20th)

They make art about you.

If you thought that a Pisces made their romantic partners their muses, you should see what they do to the people who break their hearts. They will be drawing pictures, writing songs and poems and stories based on you, with at least one or two extremely obvious references that only the two of you would understand. If you see this in a Pisces’ work, know that they still care. They aren’t inspired by those who don’t bring them either love or pain.
