In the course of one week, I:
- Heard whistling directly behind me every five minutes for an entire day, but there was never anyone near me.
- Saw my plate of food covered in cat hair.
- Watched my friend right hook some random dude straight in the face for no reason, knocking him out cold.
All of these were extremely vivid hallucinations, of course. However, no matter how hard I try, I can’t think of a real reason for them. I was sleeping just fine. I had never done any drugs in my entire life. Hell, I had never smoked a cigarette or even had a fucking cup of coffee. I’m just fine health wise and extremely sound mentally. I thought maybe I had some mental condition, but I had never experienced anything like it before and haven’t experienced it all in the five years since.
