14 People Described Something That Happened To Them That They Still Can’t Explain, And Their Stories Are CREEPY

The one thing I could never rationalize happened to my girlfriend and I a couple of years ago. We came back to orlando from a quick trip to see our families in south florida (we’re from the same area, so our respective parents don’t live very far apart). At this time, one of our roommates, lets call him john, had bounced a check and owed us some money, so he was picking up extra hours and we thought he’d be avoiding us till he had the money. Well I’m sitting in the living room and hear a series of my roommate’s trademark sniffling sounds. He had some intense allergies so he was always sniffling and blowing his nose.

I hear him in his room sniffling and moving around and think nothing of it. “John’s home and in his room, he probably doesn’t want to see us because he owes us that money” was my rationale. No problem. I just sit there and play video games for a while. The gf walks into the living room and this time we both hear the sniffling and moving about. I quietly mention to her that John was home, but I thought he was dodging us due to the situation.

“John’s not home, he’s back in south florida” she informs me. We both look at his room and my heart literally jumped into my throat. There was clearly someone in his room, and we both go silent. As if taking a cue the restlessness in his room dies down. I knock on the door and yell “John whats up man?” To no reply. We call the cops, the whole house is cleared, and we share a few nervous laughs with the cops who showed up. The window was locked, his bedroom door closed, everything totally as he’d left it when he left.

I texted him that night to inform him that his room is haunted by a poltergeist with terrible allergies.
