When I’m with you, I can unapologetically be myself, unafraid of ultimately driving you away.

With someone like me, it is either all or nothing. You either put your hand in the fire and learn to love the way the flames caress your skin or you run.

You could have never known how much this year would change you.

Because of my loneliness, I have convinced myself that no one will ever love me as much as you did.

Maybe you are spending your days with someone else.

It was always just about me.

Sometimes I picture how different life could have been had I not chosen this path. 

Sometimes at night, I put on beautiful lingerie even though I am going to bed alone.

I want to believe so badly that everything we had was real, but now I am not so sure if any of this adds up.
