Every fucking day I talk to another gay person, somehow the conversation always relates to something sexual. I feel like such a prude (and often get called as such) because of this. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy sex and I am gay but I don’t see the need to talk about it so often.

There’s this gay Facebook group that I am a part of and it virtually revolves around sex. It’s so fucking annoying. The main focus of the Facebook group isn’t about being gay nor sex, it is supposed to be focusing on a different topic (e.g. gay people that like xxxx, where xxxx has nothing to do with being gay).

I’d have to say that 60% of the posts are about sex. The topics related from “I just had sex”, “I think this manly guy is pretty hot”, “Check out this semi naked photo of me!”, “I just saw a naked photo of x.” Fucking hell. I feel like these kinds of things are furthering the negative stereotype of gay men.

In person, many of my gay friends don’t act the same. Probably 80% of them are normal people but this is probably because most of my friends tend to be introverted geeks.
