We all have those days where a little (or really, really big) pick-me-up is necessary. For some, this may mean going to get their nails done, digging in to the carton of a frozen treat (always an A+ choice), or listening to some ambient music. Personally, I tend to take a different approach. After a long day, I like to come home, grab my computer, and look up empowering quotes (yes, my good friends Ben and Jerry are sometimes there, but only for moral support). It is oddly reassuring to find a series of words that perfectly captures my mood or makes me feel like Wonder Woman. Here are a few of my favorites:
