1. Virgo
Virgo, you are by far the most cautious with your heart. Whenever you need to make a decision related to your love life in any way, it’s delayed by you spending an infinite amount of time internally debating with yourself, drowning yourself in questions, and talking to your friends for hours (or days or weeks) about all the things you’re worried might go wrong. When it comes to love, you’ve never taken a risk, you’ve never made the first move, and you’ve never simply let yourself fall.
2. Aquarius
Aquarius you are almost as bad as Virgo. But while Virgo is weighed down by overthinking, you are weighed down by refusing to let yourself think too deeply about anything. Every time there’s every a chance of change in your love life, you avoid thinking or talking about it at all costs. You’re so much more comfortable sweeping things under the rug or dodging the problem/opportunity/love interest on a consistent basis.
3. Capricorn
The reason you’re so overly cautious about love, Capricorn, is because you want it to follow a very specific and routine pattern that it will never follow. You want love to have rules, and a schedule, and a guarantee – because that’s how you handle all other aspects of your life. But the problem with love is that it will never be this way. So unless you make some behavioral changes, you’re always going to be held back by this timid and pessimistic way of looking at love.
4. Pisces
Your caution about love is a little different from the other wary signs, Pisces. While they are fearful or paranoid or overthinking, you are overly passive and yet idealistic about it. You want love to look a very certain (perfect) way, but you don’t want to be the one to put your heart on the line, step out on a limb, and try to find love through taking a risk. You’d rather just sit back and hope that maybe, someday, it will come to you, which is a whole other version of detrimental caution.
5. Taurus
Taurus, as warm and tenderhearted as you are, you are also (surprisingly) somewhat cautious about love – because you are so worried about constantly feeling secure and reassured and safe. You want all the big feelings and the big joys that come with love, but you also want to magically feel sheltered and secure 24/7, which is pretty near impossible when it comes to love.
6. Scorpio
The reason you fall on the more cautious side of love, Scorpio, is because although you’re a passionate, and magnetic, and determined person, you also have a desperate need to be secretive and protective of your life. You struggle for quite some time to fully open up and share your life with someone. You can be pretty stubborn, too. So while you’re not lacking in the passion area, you are lacking in the ability to be willing to trust a potential love, even after they’ve proved they are dependable and genuine.
7. Libra
Libra, when it comes to being too cautious about love, you’re not bad but you’re not great either. You’re open to new people and to exciting new adventures, but you’re also hesitant to fully commit to one person (even when you really like them) because you’re always worried about what you’re missing out on. It’s half being overly cautious, and half just you struggling with FOMO.
8. Gemini
In total accordance with your Gemini personality, sometimes you do really well with taking risks in your love life, and sometimes you struggle with being way, way too cautious. If you think you’ve found someone that you’re really crazy about and that you really trust, you tend to do pretty well at opening up about your feelings and letting them know you on a deeper level. But if you let your brain overthink things too much, you clam up and shut yourself off in a total panic, which often leads to you missing out on a person who could have made you really happy.
9. Leo
Leo, overall you do a pretty decent job at being gutsy in love. You’re bighearted, you’re enthusiastic, you go after what you want. But you can also be patronizing and stubborn. So it’s not so much the caution you have to work on – it’s the desire for control.
10. Sagittarius
Sagittarius, thanks to your beneficial combo of being both optimistic and straightforward, you have a very healthy way of approaching love. Although you are careful and thoughtful when it comes to your decisions, it is very rare that you let fear or anxiety stop you from being open with your heart and going after whatever it is that you think will make you happy.
11. Aries
When it comes to love Aries, you are pretty much anything but cautious, especially in the beginning. You find adventure, excitement, and thrill so irresistible that you never find yourself overthinking love too much, particularly when you’ve just met someone that you’re really into. Now, it does get more complicated when the relationship gets more serious, but that’s not so much a struggle with caution as it is a struggle with being willing to commit and settle down.
12. Cancer
This probably comes as no surprise to you, Cancer, but you are definitely the least cautious with your heart when it comes to your love life. You love warmly and openly and intensely, welcoming people into your life with open arms and being so in love with being in love. It has sometimes in the past caused you to experience hurt and heartbreak, and though you might want to be a little more particular with who has done enough to deserve your heart – it certainly is admirable that you love in such a pure and willingly vulnerable manner.
