This Is The Kind Of Man A Strong Woman Needs

Brooke Cagle

A strong woman has a firm grip on what she wants. She is independent. She is strong willed and maybe even stubborn. She may consider herself a leader and she may already be a leader in her professional sphere.

And this is the kind of man she needs:

She needs a man who is comfortable enough in his own skin to allow her to lead in the areas that are her strengths. She needs a man who is comfortable enough to allow her to pursue her dreams and is not threatened by the accolades or attention she may receive from pursuing these dreams.

She needs a man who is comfortable enough in his own skin to recognize that his easy going nature may be misperceived as passiveness, but is secure enough in his manhood that the mislabel does not emasculate him or diminish his strength.

The truth is, some of these “passive men” that are so often seen as the best matches for strong women are really strong themselves, but are not defined by the alpha male criteria of ‘strong male.’

However, it is these types of men that are even stronger than some of those who fit the traditional definition because they dare to be true to themselves in a world that might consider them “passive” or “weak.”

So if you are a strong woman, open your eyes and realize that the “passive” man who is pursuing you may indeed be your “knight in shining armor” but disguised in sheep’s clothing.

Don’t miss out on your opportunity for a life partner by letting the disguise fool you! Thought Catalog Logo Mark
