Watch This Heartwarming DreamWorks Movie On Netflix When You Just Want To Feel Something

DreamWorks has created some of the most iconic, hilarious, and uplifting animated films of the 21st century.

From How To Train Your Dragon, to Shrek, to Spirit, to Kung Fu Panda, DreamWorks is in no short supply of blockbuster hits. However, no DreamWorks movie has made me laugh and cry like the one newly streaming on Netflix.

If you are looking for a new DreamWorks animated movie that will touch your heart and speak to your soul, look no further. The Wild Robot is now on Netflix.

The Wild Robot, directed by Chris Sanders, who also co-wrote, co-directed and designed characters for How to Train Your Dragon, follows an advanced service robot named Roz, who finds herself shipwrecked on a deserted island. Isolated and alone, Roz must figure out how to adapt to her surroundings, learn to communicate with the wildlife, and figure out her own role in her new reality.

In the process of building relationships with the wildlife on the island, Roz finds herself taking care of and building a parental bond with an orphaned gosling.

Words cannot describe the beautiful journey that this movie takes you on. When I saw this movie, there was not a dry eye in the theater. In a world that so often feels deficient of these virtues, The Wild Robot advocates for kindness, acceptance, forgiveness, and love. This movie also reminds us that we can be more than our programming and our design – we can grow and change into something different and embrace new love and connections from unfamiliar places.
