What To Watch On July 15, 2025: True Crime & Dark Comedy Revisited

By

It’s a great Tuesday in television—we have a new true-crime series from ABC, a comedy that’s getting a second chance on Netflix, and a star-studded comedy ringing in it’s 20th anniversary. Check out everything you need to know in streaming today, below!

Her Last Broadcast: The Abduction of Jodi Huisentruit

This three-part series drops on Hulu today, revisiting the 1995 abduction of a 27-year-old KIMT‑TV news anchor in Mason City, Iowa. If the story sounds familiar, you may have seen it featured on the 2022 20/20 episode that renewed interest in the case. Now, 30 years after her disappearance, with no official arrests or body ever located, ABC is continuing to investigate with testimony from a new witness, and never-before-seen materials. This is a must-watch for any true-crime fans who can’t resist a cold case.

Entitled finds revival on Netflix

This Brett Gelman (Stranger Things, Fleabag) comedy is getting a second chance on streaming after it’s original release in Australia in 2023. Following an American widower who inherits his late-wife’s British estate, as he adjusts to life in a gothic mansion, and his in-laws, this is definitely a dark, quirky series for people who love niche television, and genre-bending writing. All eight episodes release today, so you can binge it start to finish if you’re so inclined.

Notable Anniversaries: Wedding Crashers

New Line Cinema

If it feels like we blinked and this film turned twenty, well, we did. With a killer ensemble cast featuring Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, Bradley Cooper, and Jane Seymour, the rom-com put a stake in the 00s ground and brought back the adult-targeted, R-rated movie. Times may have changed (tuxes definitely have), but that doesn’t mean we’ve outgrown this movie quite yet.
