4 Messiest Moments From Season 2 Of ‘The Ultimatum: Queer Love’

By

The Ultimatum: Queer Love is back for season two with another group of couples looking for their forever person.

These couples are all in search of marriage with their partner, and in doing so, they have issued their partner an ultimatum that they must marry them or they will move on entirely. I know, the basis is kind of crazy and messy and that’s what makes it so interesting. The first season was a doozy, but season two is already proving to turn up the drama and get us all hooked. The first half of season two was released on June 25th, with 7 episodes available to watch now and the second half will be available on July 2nd. Before we get to the second half, let’s unpack the 4 messiest moments from the first 7 episodes of The Ultimatum: Queer Love

Panic! At Poolside

After the OG couples have parted ways and are in their new trial marriages, it’s impossible to avoid running into your original partner. This is exactly what happens between Magan and new partner Haley when they run into Dayna, Magan’s original partner, and her new partner, Mel while at the pool. Dayna and Mel see Magan, and in Dayna’s eye’s, the best thing to do is ignore Magan. Mel takes note and does the same thing when she sees her original partner, Marie. However, Magan and Marie don’t take this too well and it sets off a lot of conflict down the road.

Pilar Hit That Block Button

During the changeover ceremony, there is some conflict between Pilar and Haley over some Instagram heart eyes. While Pilar and Haley are exchanging some words about their new trial marriage situations, Pilar tries to make a comment about a quote that Haley posted to her Instagram story. Haley claps back that a quote is nothing compared to Pilar sharing a photo of her new partner, Kyle, with heart eyes just before Pilar blocks Haley. It’s giving guilty!

Not The Locked Playlists!

The changeover ceremony was a doozy for almost everyone, but especially for Dayna and Magan. These two are at the center of a ton of drama that happens the first half of this season, but the Spotify playlist definitely takes the cake for messiest moment. While Dayna is denying that her and Mel, her new trial wife, have done anything past kissing, Magan drops that bomb that she found their secret sex playlists on Dayna’s Spotify, including songs that Dayna had previously dedicated to Magan.

Really… A Matching Tattoo?

Again, at the center of it all, Dayna decides that it’s a good idea to get a matching tattoo with Mel before the changeover ceremony. The two head to the tattoo shop and get matching four leaf clovers. Marie, Mel’s original partner, isn’t too happy about this and is highly annoyed when she asks Mel if Dayna will be in her life forever. Alternatively, Magan is furious at Dayna for the matching tattoo considering the two of them promised to get matching tattoos together if they made it out of the experiment while still in love and dating. The foreshadowing is not looking good, Dayna and Magan.
