2 Must-Watch Apple TV Shows To Stream Before January 17

So excited for what is coming to Apple TV...

By

Severance / Bad Sisters

Apple TV is better than ever. With Severance Season 2 kicking off on Friday, January 17th, there is no better time to start Severance than right now.

And, if you’ve already seen Severance, I have one other recommend under-the-radar Apple TV pick for you.

Severance

If you’re looking for twists and turns, ups and downs, then look no further. After its incredibly impressive first season in 2022, three years later, Severance is back. Severance follows employees who work at the mysterious and illustrious Lumon Industries. Don’t let this set up fool you into thinking this is just another workplace drama. The novelty of Severance is that certain Lumon Industry employees voluntarily decide to undergo a surgical chip implantation procedure that separates the cognitive functioning of their brain between their work life and their life outside of work. Meaning, a “severed” employee’s brain is split into two personas: one persona of the “innie” that is activated at work and once they leave work, the persona of the “outie” who lives their life outside of work. The kicker? The work innie knows nothing about their life as an outie and the outie has no idea about their innie’s life at work or what they are working on. I promise that Severance will draw you in and leave you hooked.

Bad Sisters

This is a must watch thriller (and honest heart warmer) on Apple TV. Bad Sisters follows the close-nit Garvey sisters who, just maybe, hate their sister’s awful husband so much that they would do anything, and I mean anything, to get him out of the picture. This show masterfully bounces between character stories, times, and places to create a narrative that coaxes you right in. Bad Sisters is funny, cheeky, outrageous, and leaves you audibly gasping at the twist, turns, and thrills of a family that will do anything to protect the ones they love.
