What To Watch On July 28, 2025: Catch Everything You Can Before It Leaves Netflix

Say "bye bye" to Alfred Hitchcock's best movies.

By

I know I’m not the only one who finds it annoying how often some streaming services remove and add movies and shows.

Of all the services guilty of this, Netflix is at the top of the list. I feel like their catalog rotates so often that the “My List” queue feels a little useless. If you don’t watch something as soon as you see it, there’s a chance it won’t be there the next time you look. Alas, this is the world in which we currently live. So today I’m highlighting the best movies leaving Netflix on August 1, 2025. You still have a few days to watch these gems.

Classic movies leaving Netflix

If you haven’t seen Field of Dreams, it’s time to fix that.

Although most of what’s leaving Netflix next month was made in the last few decades, there are a few older movies you’ll want to check out before their gone.

Say goodbye to the entire Hitchcock catalog

The Birds flew so Sharknado could swirl.

If you’re a fan of Alfred Hitchcock, it’s going to be hard to power through all his movies before the month is over. That’s because his deep catalog is leaving Netflix. But if you have some time, here’s the best of the best. (Time for a Hitchcock marathon?)

What we’re talking about

Happy watching!
