The 3 Best Romantic Comedies Streaming On Netflix This May

I have a solution for you, though. I’ve combed through the rom coms to find the three best so you don’t have to. Now you have only three to pick from, as opposed to what feels like infinity. About Time (2013)

Tim learns that he’s from a long line of men in his family who can go back in time–which he of course uses to fall in love with the woman of his dreams. This is one of those underrated movies that pretty much anyone would love, even if they don’t like romance or heartache or time travel or fantasy elements in their stories. Put this on when no one can come to a decision as they stare longingly at the Netflix queue.

The Lost City (2022)

When a romance novelist gets kidnapped, it’s up to her cover model to come to her rescue. Too bad he doesn’t know literally anything about rescuing someone from a remote island in the South Pacific. While this blockbuster came out in theaters in 2022, you may not have caught it since then. Maybe because, up until this month, it wasn’t available on Netflix. But now it is, so you have no excuse!

Happiness for Beginners (2023)

I have to be honest with you. This is my favorite romantic comedy of the last decade, period. A woman signs up for a beginner’s backpacking trip in order to find herself after her divorce. And, what do you know, her younger brother’s best friend has signed up, too. It’s a beautiful story with an interesting cast of characters and there’s a very good chance you’ll want to go backpacking after you watch this. It’s a Netflix original, so this is the only place you’ll get to see it.
