Clue (1985)
I swear, every time I watch this Clue, I appreciate something new. And I’ll always love the multiple endings no matter how many times I see them. The murder mystery based on a board game has the quick wit and constant humor that set the ’80s apart from every other decade. April Fool’s Day (1986)
Okay, we’re a little late in the month for this one, but it’s still a fun movie. Rather than the super gory or gratuitous slasher horror movies you might be used to, this forgotten gem is just fun. It’s got its own little mystery as a group of college friends spend the week on a remote island. Watch April Fool’s Day on Paramount+.
The Parent Trap (1998)
Two long-lost twins find each other at summer camp and plan to swap lives so they can finally get their divorced parents back together again. While I love the 1961 original, I have to admit that the Lindsay Lohan version of this story has something special. Watch The Parent Trap on Disney+.
Keanu (2016)
We all love John Wick, right? But sometimes we’re not in the mood to watch that sad beginning. In that case, watch Key and Peele’s heartfelt parody of the John Wick storyline. Instead, a gang leader steals their adorable kitten named Keanu and they’re on a quest to get him back. It’s even better than you’d expect from this comedy duo, and that’s saying something.
