Watch These 7 Rom Coms Before They Leave Netflix At The End Of April

Watch these romantic comedies while you still can.

By

We all love love, right? It can’t be just me.

So when you’re looking for something sweet and funny to watch, it can be a little overwhelming. There are hundreds of romantic comedies out there, it can be hard to actual press play with all the decision fatigue. I’m here to narrow it down for you. Use the last week of April to watch these 7 rom coms leaving Netflix at the end of the month. After that, who knows when you’ll have another chance to watch them. Might as well get watching!

Notting Hill (1999)

Universal Pictures

Julia Roberts is Anna Scott, a famous American actress who meets and falls for a run-of-the mill British bookshop owner, played by Hugh Grant. “I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.” If you’ve ever wondered where this iconic quote came from it’s this.

Maid in Manhattan (2002)

Sony Pictures

Jennifer Lopez’s Marisa is a single mom working as a housekeeper in a fancy NYC hotel in this Pretty Woman-adjacent rom com. When a man mistakes her for a wealthy guest, she tries to keep up the ruse in favor of the blossoming love between the two.

Wedding Crashers (2005)

New Line Cinema

Best friends John and Jeremy love to crash weddings. Free food and booze, fun dancing, and the prospect of taking home a bridesmaid for the night–what’s not to love? But when they’re invited back to a family’s home after the crashed nuptials, epic shenanigans ensue.

Definitely, Maybe (2008)

Universal Pictures

Will’s daughter, Maya, wants to hear about how he and her mom met. Rather than telling one story, he tells the interconnected stories of how he met and fell for three different and equally beautiful women. This movie does a good job of showing the realistic trials and tribulations of love.

I Can Do Bad All by Myself (2009)

Lionsgate

April has had it rough, and when her niece and nephew, whom she has custody of, get into a heap of trouble, she needs to start reevaluating her own life. If you’re more the drama type than comedy, this movie will call to you.

This is 40 (2012)

Universal Pictures

Spun off from 2007’s Knocked Up, This is 40 follows married couple Pete and Debbie (Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann) as they showcase what it’s like to be middle-aged. This is a gem for Paul Rudd alone.

About Time (2013)

Universal Pictures

Tim finds out that the men in his family have the ability to go back in time, which he uses to find the love of his life. This is my personal favorite on the list, so if you choose just one to watch before the month is up, let it be this.

Your Daily Devotional 5/17/2025: When God Says ‘Not Guilty’

Devotional Message The foundational truth for experiencing spiritual freedom is that you can approach God without shame. God doesn’t hold your sins against you. He isn’t punishing you for past mistakes. You don’t have to live under a cloud of guilt or fear spiritual judgment. The finality and completeness of ‘no condemnation’ signifies a total […]
