Tom Holland, 29, was rapidly rushed to hospital after a stunt accident at Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day left him with a cracked head and concussion. A stunt double was also reportedly injured.

Where did it happen?

It happened in Leavesden Studios, Watford (outside of London). This is one of the UK’s major film production hubs. It’s a well-known site where many blockbuster movies are filmed, including the Harry Potter franchise, The Batman, and multiple Star Wars projects.

What do we know about the injury?

Tom Holland suffered a significant injury, described as a cracked head, according to LBC (Leading Britain’s Conversation), a London-based talk radio station known for its news coverage and political commentary, which was among the first outlets, or maybe the first, to report on the incident.

What will happen to the release date of the new Spiderman?

Spider-Man: Brand New Day was supposed to hit theaters on July 31, 2026. We don’t know how serious the injury is, but since Tom Holland has a concussion, it could be very serious and may affect the release date. However, we don’t yet have enough information to know for sure what happened.
