In the final year of Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen was earning nearly $2 million per episode. Jon Cryer, his co-star, made less than one-third of that. After Sheen was fired, Cryer’s salary rose to $620,000 per episode. Meaning his earlier pay was somewhere under that figure, maybe way under it, though the exact number has never been disclosed.

The difference is staggering, but Cryer wasn’t the one pointing it out to demand more money. He’s simply acknowledged the reality: one actor was paid millions while unraveling behind the scenes, while the other kept working steadily at a fraction of that rate.
