It’s Okay To Give Yourself The Same Grace You Give Everyone Else

By

Rising author of This is How it Feels to Be Seen, Sophie Beatrice, reaffirms that it’s okay if all you did today was try your best.

It’s okay to have bad days, moments of discouragement, heartbreak, and setbacks. Life is in motion, and sometimes it’s hard. But don’t forget that you are human. You are free to experience moments like these. To be alive means to feel. And other days will come your way, too.

It’s okay if you don’t get everything done today. It will get better, and tomorrow is a new day — a whole new day. A day with fresh thoughts and new emotions, with new opportunities, experiences, and successes. And there are so many more good days to come.

It’s okay if you’re not yet sure where you want to be in life. Feeling lost and uncertain is part of the journey. These feelings have a purpose, a reason for being. They speak to us, guiding us in the right direction.

It’s okay not to know everything and not to have all the answers. There is still so much to be learned, so many questions to be asked, and so many answers to be found. None of us have all the answers to every question — for most answers and questions form little by little along the way.
