for giving up when I should’ve fought for you.
For being so weak thinking that leaving was strength.

for letting you go, for not coming back sooner,
for not knowing that I had everything
when I had you.

I promise this time, I’ll never leave.
This time, I’ll make up for all the years
I was supposed to be loving and holding you.
