All About Steve is a movie I routinely show to people, not because I like it, just to prove it actually exists. The first time I saw it, I played it over again, because I thought that maybe I hallucinated that movie. That couldn’t have actually happened, right? But it did. The plot itself is hard to believe. A crossword puzzle genius scares a guy off on a date and then finds out he’s a cameraman for CNN and stalks him halfway across the country to get him to fall in love with her, but not before falling in a pit with a bunch of deaf children and inspiring a nation. Sandra Bullock plays the character as probably mentally ill, which the movie never acknowledges. She’s just quirky!

What’s even better is that Bullock acted as a producer on the film and still stands by it. She even showed up to accept her Razzie in person — with a wagon full of copies of the film.
