PSA: Song From ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ Just Debuted On ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’
Well, that was surprising.
Taylor Swift debuted “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)”, a re-recorded version of her song from the 2017 album Reputation, on an episode of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale on May 19th.
In a statement to Billboard, The Handmaid’s Tale’s Elizabeth Moss said the following, “I’ve been wanting to use a Taylor song for many years on the show and we finally found the perfect spot for a track from her, and I’m so glad we waited because there could not be a more perfect song for a more perfect moment.”
The song has yet to be released online or on streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music. Swift also has not announced an official release date for the re-recorded Reputation album.
Swifties have anxiously been awaiting Reputation (Taylor’s Version) for some time now, constantly making guesses at when Swift will plan to release the re-recorded album.
While many theories have circulated across the Internet about supposed Easter eggs Swift has dropped regarding the album’s release, this might be the biggest one yet that hints Reputation is arriving sooner rather than later.
Baby, let the games begin!
