The Lonely Island Performed Their Most Iconic Songs For ‘SNL 50’ And It Was Perfect

There are core memories that make us who we are and are interwoven within the fabric of our lives. We maybe can’t always remember what we did five minutes ago or what we had for lunch yesterday, but we can remember where we were during pivotal moments in history because of the massive impact they had on us and society as a whole.

For me, one of those core memories was in my father’s office with two of my best friends and my little sister as we watched The Lonely Island’s Digital Short “Jizz In My Pants” on the family computer. Maybe it was the lyrics, maybe it was the outfits, but it was then I was irrevocably changed as a person.

The Lonely Island’s Digital Shorts became a classic staple on the sketch comedy show. So it only makes sense its creators would come together for Saturday Night Live‘s 50th Anniversary episode. For SNL 50’s Homecoming Concert, The Lonely Island was joined on stage by Lady Gaga, Chris Parnell, Bad Bunny, T-Pain and others to perform a medley of the most iconic Lonely Island songs.

Hits performed included “I’m On A Boat,” “I Just Had Sex,” “Captain Jack Sparrow,” “Motherlover,” and others. Watch the strange, glorious medley here:
