I’m Sorry, But He Doesn’t Give A Shit About You

How do I know this?

Because, first off, you clicked this.

Because you’re obviously curious.

Because there’s something inside you that’s questioning his motives.

Because you’re looking for stuff you don’t want to see.

If he texts you sporadically, if he texts you when the sun sets, he doesn’t give a shit. If it’s always late when he tries to get together, he doesn’t care how your day was. He doesn’t want to see you because he missed you. He doesn’t want to get together because there’s a future he envisions with you in it. He just wants attention. He wants to feel needed. He wants a person to get him through the loneliness that is the nighttime.

If he sweet talks you without anything to back it up, he doesn’t care. It doesn’t matter how charming he appears. Snakes can be deceiving. Snakes can speak with soft tongues.

It’s about actions. It’s about what happens after the promises. It’s the reality.

And if you’re still wondering where he’s at, sorry, he doesn’t care.

Because when a man cares, you know it. He’s showing up. He’s giving his all. He’s there even when things are unpleasant. And he’s trying. And he’s doing whatever he can to make sure you know he’s sticking around.

If a man gives a shit about you, you aren’t clicking on vague articles.

You’re just with him. You’re secure. You’re trusting. And you’re happy.

So pay attention. Listen to your gut. Even if it’s unpleasant.

You already know the truth. TC mark

Poetry that will change you

This is for the women who are first to get naked, howl at the moon and jump into the sea. This is for the women who seek relentless joy; the ones who know how to laugh with their whole souls. The women who speak to strangers because they have no fear in their hearts. This is for the women who drink coffee at midnight and wine in the morning, and dare you to question it. This is for the women who throw down what they love, and don’t waste time following society’s pressures to exist behind a white picket fence. The women who create wildly, unbalanced, ferociously and in a blur at times. This — is for you.

“When Janne has a new poem written, I shut my life down to do nothing but read it, and then when I turn my life back on, everything is better.” — James Altucher
