Listen, I know it’s scary and uncomfortable and deeply upsetting right now, but you are going to be okay. You have to take this step for yourself. You have to reach beyond what is known and try to trust that you will be okay no matter what. Even if it doesn’t work out. Even if you don’t find what you’re looking for, it’s honorable to show yourself that you tried. It is admirable to get help. You are not weak. You are not worthless. You are not a failure. No one will be upset with you for doing what you need to do for you. Your light is stronger than any darkness. Remember, the courage you need is already within you. The comfort you need is already within you. You can do whatever you think you can’t do.
