One Of Netflix’s Best Horror Movies Is Leaving On March 31

Netflix has added some pretty great horror movies to its rotation this year: Hereditary (2018), Watcher (2022) and Parasite (2019) among others. One of these newly added horror movies hit Netflix in February and is already leaving the service after just two months. The Menu (2022) will leave Netflix on March 31.

First, what is The Menu all about? The Menu follows Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) and Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) on a date to an exclusive fancy restaurant on a private island. Hosted by culinary celebrity Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes), the guests gather for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. As the meal progresses however, the diners realize this may be the last meal of their lives.

Is The Menu worth watching? Yes, if you are a fan of horror or thriller movies you should make time to watch The Menu before it leaves Netflix on March 31. Creepy Catalog ranked The Menu the 15th best horror movie to come out in 2022 (for context, 2022 was one of the most competitive years for horror movies of all time so this is a good placement in the ranking). It is also a good movie to watch if you enjoy criticism of fine dining culture/capitalism or just laughing at rich people’s foibles.

What are other movies to watch if I loved The Menu? Black comedy horror and thriller movies that poke fun at and derive horror from class warfare will hit a similar vibe to The Menu. Ready or Not (2019), Silent Night (2021) and The Hunt (2020) are great movies to watch if you enjoyed The Menu.

The Menu is streaming on Netflix until March 31.
