Here’s The Trailer For A24’s Next Horror Movie (And It Looks Like A Doozy)
The trailer looks to be A24 filmmaking at its very best: unique, cerebral and delightfully scary.
A24, the studio behind horror hits like Hereditary, Heretic and Ti West’s X trilogy, dropped a teaser trailer for their upcoming horror movie, Bring Her Back. Directed by brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, the film is about a brother and sister who “uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.” The trailer looks to be A24 filmmaking at its very best: unique, cerebral and delightfully scary.
It was previously announced that the Philippou brothers were working on a standalone sequel to their 2022 hit Talk to Me but Bring Her Back doesn’t look to be that sequel. It is not made explicitly clear in the trailer or marketing materials if this film is related to Talk to Me. In fact, the plot of Bring Her Back isn’t made very clear in the trailer at all. One article mentions the fact that the brothers are still working on the sequel, which means Bring Her Back is not that film.
Bring Her Back is co-written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman. It stars Sally Hawkins, Billy Barratt, Sora Wong and Jonah Wren Phillips.
