50 People On ‘The Creepy Story I Could Never Fully Explain’

When I was a little kid I had to share a room with my sister. We were both young (I was probably 5 or 6 so my sister would have been 7 or 8). One night, I woke up and I had to use the bathroom. So I got up and started walking to our bedroom door, but I noticed that in the corner of the room, next to the door, there was a man standing in the dark.

I just stood there staring at him. He said “where do you think you’re going?” I said I had to poop, and was going to the bathroom. He told me to go back to sleep. So I did.

No idea who it was.

My mother’s first husband (my half sister’s father) died about 5 years before I was born. I know very little about him. We don’t really talk about him.

One day we sitting at the table having coffee and I had an incredible, overwhelming urge to talk about him. It’s like I HAD to ask. I said to my mother and sisters, “Why don’t we ever talk about Simon? I want to talk about him now- tell me more about him- I feel like I don’t know enough.”

We spoke about him and my mother told me how much she had loved him. A few hours later my mum came over to me crying and she said “You know that he died on this day, ten years ago.”

This didn’t happen to me but it happened to my dad. We had just bought a new house and my dad was over there at 3 in the morning cleaning it so we could move our stuff in the next day. No one else was there. Anyway, he was vacuuming out the (empty) closet below the stairs when out of nowhere a little red ball rolled right up to his feet…

He had no idea where it came from.

Ouija Board one time. We had a board with letters of the alpahbet and had an upturned glass as a marker. Each person had one finger on the glass and I am sure none of us had the ability to control it. We did this a few times one summer as kids and got various people. I never really believed it or maybe never took the time to think about it. One time we started talking to a kid who scared us pretty bad. He told us he was 7 when he died and that he had died in the bath. He then told us that his Dad had killed him. He kept spelling “Dad here with you” which spooked us a bit. He told us he was from France. We asked him to prove it and he kept spelling the word “Glass”. We didnt know what he meant until somebody looked at the glass that we were using as a marker. It had “Made in France” on the base. None of us ever did a board again. I am a complete atheist but I can still never explain it. I know my friends and eventually one of them would have owned up if it was a prank.
