Charli XCX Teamed Up With A24 To Make A Movie—And It’s Starring Kylie Jenner

By

Earlier this afternoon, Charli XCX and A24 released a seizure-inducing video on social media that tells us very little except for this: They’re making a movie with Aidan Zamiri, who’s perhaps best known for creating music videos for the likes of Charli and Billie Eilish.

(I’m serious, though—watch the video at your own risk. The strobing lights are a lot.)

But truthfully, do we need to know much more? Not only has Charli taken center stage after her Brat era, keeping us all on the edge of our seats to see what she’s going to do next (and no, we don’t count the Taylor Swift song), but the names that the video spit out is compelling enough to clinch the deal: it boasts a robust cast including Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott, Kate Berlant, Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, and A.G. Cook (a record producer who has had a long working relationship with Charli and who will be doing the music for the film).

(Is it too early to talk about how Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are officially going to be an acting power couple? Yes? Okay.)

So, what do we actually know about the movie, besides the cast? Not much, except that it’s titled The Moment and that it’ll release in 2026. It’s also co-written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, and billed as “an original idea by Charli XCX”. Admittedly, though, the mystery might actually be the appeal here. Trust me when I say I’m already seated.
