Great News, Team Conrad: Chris Briney Is Dropping A Spicy Audio Series (That Will Put The Taxi Scene To Shame)

By

This week is BIG for the Conrad girlies. The Summer I Turned Pretty hero quadrupled his fan base during the third and final season of the show, in big part thanks to actor Chris Briney for making his character vulnerable, pining, and okay, yeah, hot. There’s no reason to mince words about it: Chris Briney’s Conrad Fisher might be the sexiest person on our screens right now and everyone on the internet knows it.

And yes, I mean everyone, including the Quinn app. Quinn is an audio erotica app (think Audible, but make it super spicy) that has worked with other notable actors in the past, including Tom Blythe, Jamie Campbell Bower, Andrew Scott, and Victoria Pedretti. They’ve especially been good about finding the internet’s “boyfriends of the month” and getting them on board to narrate one of their spicy stories, and it looks like Chris Briney is next on the list.

Quinn teased the collab earlier this week with some very telling imagery, including “Quinn Original Coming Soon” with the trademark The Summer I Turned Pretty font over a video of water and, soon after, a chair with a peach and the song ‘Wild Horses’ by The Rolling Stones—a clear nod to Conrad’s narrated episode in the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, where he wipes peach juice from Belly’s chin in a startlingly intimate scene.

While some wondered if Quinn was purposefully using the show’s buzz to sell their next original, but using Chris Briney as a red herring, the app all but confirmed the collaboration after the show’s finale dropped this Wednesday, even referencing Belly and Conrad’s latest spicy scene in the caption: “THE TAXI. THE STAIRCASE. AND NOW THE QUIN APP.”

It seems fitting that Chris Briney’s Quinn app story, “Hidden Harbor,” seems to revolve around a beach, with much of the social media imagery revolving around surf boards, a pick up truck, and hilariously, Briney’s hands (because if there’s one thing Team Conrad goes crazy for, it’s those hands).

Quinn will drop the first episode of Hidden Harbor on Friday, September 19, and likely post two more episodes in the following weeks. Good luck, Team Conrad girlies—stay strong.
