A lot of people like to say I have the “dream apartment.” Beautiful floors, huge closet, washer and dryer, a great tub, and the best part is this luxurious, big balcony right off of my bedroom that the overlooks the city and has water and skyline views. It’s not too shabby. And I’ve loved living here.

But something’s happened recently that makes the dream apartment a nightmare in the making. Something I don’t have any logical explanation for.

I’ve been keeping the blinds shut at all times, and I’m thinking about moving my bed until I can get a security system. But that doesn’t make it easier to sleep when I hear something out there, and feel the sensation of something right outside that window, trying to look in. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
