Shudder Is Releasing A Resurrection-Themed Horror Movie For Easter

By

In Shadow of God, maybe the devil isn’t the only supernatural force worth fearing.

With Easter around the corner, many reflect on Christ’s resurrection as a source of hope. But Shadow of God, Shudder’s upcoming horror thriller, twists that hope into something terrifying.

Renowned exorcist Father Mason Harper carries deep scars from his ultra-religious father. But when his father—long presumed dead—suddenly returns, rumors of resurrection fly. But Harper fears something more sinister: possession.

Here’s the catch—this possession might not be demonic. Harper’s real terror? The entity inhabiting his father might be… holy. Maybe even God.

The exorcism genre is packed with clichés, but Shadow of God dares to break the mold with its bold, unsettling premise.

Shadow of God releases April 11 as part of Shudder’s Halfway to Halloween celebration!
