This Is The Kind Of Guy You Should Avoid

Avoid the guy who keeps looking for excuses not to be with you. Avoid the guy who uses the smallest bump in the road as an excuse to drop you off before you finish the ride. Avoid the guy who holds every little thing you say or do against you because he was not entirely surely about you to begin with.

Avoid the guy who doesn’t make it clear enough that he wants you. Who keeps sending you mixed signals, the guy who is not consistent, the guy who is not making an effort or the guy who doesn’t choose you because he has so many choices and he can’t make up his mind.

Avoid the guy who is only half-interested, who is only half-there, who is only available when he wants to be not when you want him to be.

Avoid the guy who keeps playing games with you on social media. The guy who snaps you after midnight but doesn’t respond to your text, the guy who texts you first but responds to your message a day later, the guy who makes it clear that he’s online but isn’t texting you back. Avoid the guy who is still more interested in liking bikini selfies than liking you.

Avoid the guy who doesn’t take a chance to know you, to be with you, to talk to you and make sure he stays on your mind. Avoid the guy who is so sure of himself that he doesn’t feel the need to reassure you or reach out to you. Avoid the guy who doesn’t know how to value you, who doesn’t know how to appreciate your presence in his life. Avoid the guy who doesn’t respect you.

Avoid the guy who makes you feel stupid for being vulnerable or sensitive or emotional. Avoid the guy who calls you needy or crazy when you express yourself. Avoid the guy who can’t handle your feelings or can’t handle how much you like him.

Avoid the guy who is only good at sweet talking, who says all the right things but does nothing. Avoid the guy who flirts with everyone, the guy who doesn’t know how to give you the attention you deserve. Avoid the guy who is still a boy; interested in getting as many girls to like him so he can feel good about himself. Avoid the guy who only wants your attention, not your love.

Avoid the guy who makes you question yourself. The guy who makes you think you’re the problem.

The guy who keeps you up at night wondering if he’s thinking about you, wondering if he misses you and wondering if he’ll call. Avoid the guy who makes you sleep with tears in your eyes.

Avoid the guy who can’t show up for you. The guy who can’t be a man with you because he’s still not a man himself. Avoid the guy who doesn’t know how to treat a woman like you. Lose the guy who is clearly not afraid of losing you.   Thought Catalog Logo Mark
