Everybody Wants Love But No One Is Actually ‘Ready’ For It
Don’t believe someone when they tell you they’re not ready, they are but they just haven’t met the right person yet. No one can decide if they’re ready or not because love is not something you can control.

I don’t think anyone is totally ready for love. No one is all in but they’re not all out either.
Everybody just wants the attention, the butterflies, the passion and the steamy kisses but no one wants the compromises, the fights, the effort, the hard work you have to put into a relationship to make it work.
The reason why a lot of people prefer casual dating is that they don’t have to feel and when you don’t have to feel, you don’t have to hurt.
But I think whether you’re ready or not, you still need love, you still crave someone to talk to when you’re all alone at night, you still wish you could find that person who could understand you when you can’t even understand yourself, you still want your wounds to be kissed by someone who can heal them and you still want someone to calm you down and shelter you from the noise of the world and the noise of your own thoughts.
So it’s safe to say that everybody wants love and everyone secretly wants to find it, the problem is finding the right person, the right one, the person you can look at forever and the person you decide is worth suffering for.
Don’t believe someone when they tell you they’re not ready, they are but they just haven’t met the right person yet.
No one can decide if they’re ready or not because love is not something you can control and sometimes it just happens and you can’t explain why out of all the people in the world, your heart decided to beat for this specific person.
But once they do, they jump in with both feet, they take the risk, they fall in love and they don’t mind the scars and the bruises that come with this jump because it’s worth it.
Because the truth is we are all scared of falling in love and getting hurt, we are all scared of losing someone we love, we are all scared of breaking someone’s heart while trying to mend ours — but if we keep looking for all the reasons why love can be scary, we will keep our hearts in a cage forever.
And hearts are made to dance, they’re made to fly and they’re made to be set free.
So you can keep putting walls and building barriers to prevent you from falling in love, you can keep saying you’re scared or not ready or not sure but then one day you meet someone and somehow they make you ready, they make you less scared of falling, they make you want to open your chest and let your heart fly and they make you understand how sometimes there’s just no logic in love yet it makes perfect sense.
So no one is totally ready and you’re probably not either but that wasn’t, isn’t and will never be a reason to stop you or anyone else from falling in love.
