Nikki Blonsky AKA Mrs. Ehrlock

Nikki Blonsky’s Forgotten Horror-Movie Appearance

Nikki Blonsky’s cameo videos are going viral, but nobody realizes she was in this unhinged 2019 horror flick.

Nikki Blonsky shot to fame in Hairspray, then vanished after a messy airport altercation. But now, she’s blowing up on TikTok with her hilarious cameo videos.

What most people don’t know? She has a featured role in one of Amazon’s most unhinged horror movies: Ghost in the Graveyard

Ghost in the Graveyard is a chaotic mix of creepy ghosts, evil witches, a local (maybe-helpful) cult, and plenty of low-budget coming-of-age angst. The plot has holes, the effects are goofy, and the actors can’t pronounce “Beelzebub,” but that’s exactly why it’s a blast.

Blonsky appears in one blink-and-you’ll-miss-it scene as Mrs. Erlock, an unhelpful city hall secretary who briefly speaks to the protagonist, Sally, about a mysterious birth certificate. After Sally leaves, Mrs. Erlock cryptically dials one button and says, “Yes, it’s me. Mrs. Erlock.” Who was she calling? Why does this scene exist? No clue. But that’s what makes this movie so fun—pure, chaotic nonsense. And seeing our long-lost Queen of Baltimore in the middle of it? Perfection.
