5 Of The Most Hilarious Shows To Watch On Hulu This March

Sometimes you just need a comedy to make the world feel right again.

I don’t know about you, but I am desperate for a good laugh lately.

You know, those from the depths of your soul belly laughs that bring tears to your eyes, those are the ones I’m talking about. I want to chuckle so hard my neighbors get envious. My desperate search for television’s funniest shows has brought me to Hulu and I have found some rib-tickling shows that I think you should add to your queue. Here are the five shows you should watch right now if you want a good guffaw.

Pen15

Hulu

Pen15 is the cringiest, most relatable, and hilarious show I have ever watched. Set in 2000, the show follows Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine as they play a middle school version of themselves. When I tell you I was not prepared to laugh as hard and also feel as seen as I was while enjoying this show, I mean it. From topics of sex ed, first kisses, girl fights, and parental disturbances, this show has everything that I have ever experienced growing up and more. There are two seasons available of Pen15 and sadly, there won’t be anymore, so you can shed a tear while you apply your glitter eyeshadow and add butterfly clips to your hair.

Shoresy

Hulu

Jared Keeso brings back another hilarious show post-Letterkenny and it is Shoresy. The show is all about the fight-starting, unrivaled chirper named Shoresy that we laughed at in Letterkenny. In his own show, Shoresy moves to Sudbury, Canada to join a senior AAA hockey team and is hellbent on never losing again. Its raunchy, it’s offensive, and it’s just downright funny. Shoresy has four seasons available now and a fifth one is confirmed.

Broad City

Comedy Central

Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer are two 20-something-year-olds living in NYC as best friends just doing their best to navigate life together in Broad City. Abbi and Ilana are highly relatable to me as I also live in the city and have struggled with money in the past. This disastrous duo always manage to get into some trouble and you’ll laugh through the highly cringeworthy moments with them. Abbi and Ilana show how difficult corporate America can be, how hard relationships are, and just how important it is to have a best friend in a big city. There are five seasons of Broad City to enjoy.

Abbott Elementary

Taking place at a Philadelphia public school, Abbott Elementary is smart and hilarious, with a feel like Parks and Rec or Ted Lasso. The series follows dedicated teachers as they fight against a really terrible education system to give their students the most success they can have. The touch on real-world issues and the self-deprecating humor give Abbott Elementary a sad-but-true feel while also delivering comedic relief in situations that really suck. Abbott Elementary has four seasons available and a fifth on the way.

What We Do In The Shadows

FX

Alright, this show took me a bit to warm up to, but What We Do In The Shadows is hilariously awkward and it works so well. If you go in expecting there to be banger after banger of perfectly delivered humor, this show isn’t for you. The humor is definitely made to be a little awkward and off-kilter and that’s what makes it unique. What We Do In The Shadows is about four vampires who have lived together in Staten Island for more than a century. There are six seasons available of this show but, unfortunately, the show is over so we won’t get to enjoy any more episodes. Fangs for the memories, I guess.
