3 New Horror Movies Streaming This Week (February 22-28, 2025)

By

The last week of February was a quiet one for new horror movies. But despite the lack of quantity, the quality is high. This week’s streaming releases include a unique take on a haunted house, an exorcism, and a dark survival thriller with killer dogs.

For many more new horror movies, from today and all the way back through the past twelve months, take a look at our horror movie tracker on Creepy Catalog.

Presence

Presence is available on Amazon Prime Video for purchase and premium VOD rental. (added Feb. 25)

The usage of a unique point of view in Presence might seem like a gimmick, and it might even feel that way in the beginning. But once the story of a dysfunctional family moving into a haunted house starts to really get going, the first-person POV creates a feeling completely unlike most other film in the ghost genre. Presence is one of the best movies of 2025 so far, and you can read my full review on Creepy Catalog.

Devils Stay

Devils Stay is available to rent on Amazon Prime Video. (added Feb. 24)

A heart surgeon’s beloved daughter dies during an exorcism. But is she really dead? Her father doesn’t believe she’s really gone. As the funeral ceremonies commence, the surgeon and a priest try to figure out what went wrong during the first exorcism so they can ultimately save the young woman.

Project Silence

Project Silence is available to buy or rent on Amazon Prime Video. (added Feb. 25)

When intense weather conditions cause a traffic disaster on a bridge, people band together for survival. Adding to their misery is the escape of a pack of attack dogs who were the results of a military experiment. If the weather or the dogs don’t kill the dwindling survivors, then the potential of an entire bridge collapse might finish them all.
