I have no idea what you want from me. One day, it seems like you want to date me (or at least sleep with me). The next day, it seems like you don’t want anything to do with me.
You keep alternating between hardcore flirting with me and completely ignoring me. It’s like you are either able to spend all of your time on me or none of your time on me. There’s no middle ground when it comes to you.
I keep trying to figure out what you want from me, what your end game is, but I honestly have no idea at this point. I don’t know what you’re trying to do anymore. I don’t even know if you know.
Your mixed signals aren’t making any sense. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to think when you tell me that you miss me, that you want to make plans to see me, and then avoid answering my messages for days at a time. I’m not sure what it means when you give me all of your attention and then take it all away.
More importantly, I’m not sure why you think it is okay to flirt with me, abandon me, and then come back and start the process again. I really don’t know what has been going through your mind, because the way you are acting isn’t going to get you a girlfriend.
Maybe you think that I have low standards and will settle for the half-ass attention you’ve been giving me. Or maybe you think that I like you so much that I will put up with anything you put me through. But that is far from the truth.
I’m not going to waste my time trying to figure out what it means when you invite me over and claim that you had such a great time with me — and then drop out of my life again. I’m not going to stay up nights waiting for your text messages and spend mornings wondering what you’re doing without me. It’s just not going to happen.
Because, to me, mixed signals are a red flag. They tell me that you care about me a little bit, but not enough.
If you actually wanted to date me, you wouldn’t ignore me for such long stretches of time.
But then again, if you wanted to sleep with me, you would have made a move by now, because I have given you plenty of chances.
And if you wanted nothing to do with me, you wouldn’t be flirting with me in the first place.
That’s why I have no idea what our ‘relationship’ is. I have no idea what you want from me. I can’t figure it out.
Right now, your mixed signals aren’t making any sense. So unless you want me to throw my hands up and walk away, you’re going to need to be more blunt. You’re going to have to tell me exactly what you want from me, because I have absolutely no clue.
