If You Ever Feel Stuck In Life

By

You woke up one day and the realization that you are stuck doing the same lame shit everyday for the past half of your life hit you straight to the gut. You felt miserable thinking how far your friends have gone in their lives with their perfect family, fabulous career, and fancy getaway while you’re there alone, still not sure what the word fulfilled and successful really mean. A pity party sounds right about now, but don’t.

You might be disappointed in yourself for not living an exciting and adventurous enough life, but you still lived and you can still start over.

You might feel that constant ache of stress and expectation, but don’t throw in the towel yet. Even if you have to fake your way through it, keep moving forward.

You might doubt yourself and second-guess your destiny but remember, only people who made it have critics. Embrace your triumphs as much as failures.

You might have lost a lot in your life, but never stop hoping that what you will find in the end will outweigh all the rest.

You might be scared to take things that are greater than you, but stand taller, straighter. They may be beyond you but they are not impossible.

You might feel like trying out something for ages, so what are you waiting? Don’t keep it just a thought. Take action and give it a try.

You might be frightened to take the path less traveled, but for once, just take the risk. When you look back 20 years from now, the what if will haunt you for the rest of your life.

You might have people walking in and out of your life faster than you say Monday, but don’t be sad. They are all leaving footprints, some larger, some smaller but still marks that make you feel.

You might be wondering if you’ll ever find yourself. Maybe you’ll never stop searching. But that’s okay, because tomorrow has the possibility of you liking yourself more or a little less. What’s important is you are alive and living.
