When I Say I Want You, I Want All Of You

By

When I say I want you, I want all of you.

I want the happy you and I want the sad you. I want you when you are angry, and I want you when you are scared.

I want the broken pieces that you may carry within you. I don’t want to fix you, because those pieces are a part of you and they are what makes you you.

I want your fingers in mine and I want our toes to touch. I want your scars and I want your bruises. I want your hugs from behind and I want your kiss on my neck.

I want to feel safe in your presence, and I want you to feel safe in mine. I want you to know that as long as I am living, you will always have a piece of my
heart.

I want your family and I want to know your friends. I want to feel your 3 am cuddles and I want to feel you pull me close to your chest. I want to wake up next to you and smile at you because you are here.

I want to laugh with you and I want to cry with you. I want to know your fears and what excites you. I want to grow with you. I want every piece of you that makes you who you are.

I want to share my life with you – the good, the bad and the ugly.

Choosing you is a choice that comes naturally to my heart, and I will continue to
choose all of you, every moment of every day.
