To Those Who Never Feel Good Enough

By

As cliche as it may sound, you are enough. No – you are more than enough.

You are more than what you see in the mirror when you wake up at past two in the afternoon after a night’s worth of crying and overthinking.

You are more than what people think of you, whether they see you as average, beautiful, plain, or inspirational.

You are more than what you listen to, the lyrics of every song you try to relate to how much your life sucks.

You are more than how many hours you spend trying to figure out what your purpose is. Heck, if you have a purpose.

You are far more than who you think you are, because most probably, you’re not happy with yourself. Yet you keep forgetting that it’s not too late to grow and blossom… become a better person.

It’s never too late to look into that mirror again and see someone capable of being loved wholeheartedly and truthfully.

It’s never too late to realize that you are not average. You are strong, you are trying, and you are lucky.

It’s never too late to create your own songs in the future, with lines you’ll pick up from new amazing adventures you’re about to experience.

It’s never too late to love yourself, to appreciate you, because that’s what you lack: you lack you. You lack contentment and self-love, that’s why you try so hard to dig deep and look for love on other people when it is unnecessary because you have yourself, and that should be enough.

Anyone who makes you think otherwise – anyone who makes you feel horrible, unwanted, and under-appreciated – perhaps they do not understand life. They do not care. They are passive robots who do not give a damn and you shouldn’t be one of them.

Be the few, who love anyway, even after getting hurt a hundred times. Be the few who live and breathe and hope anyway, even when things get too painful hope is second to impossible. Be the few who find a reason to be happy, even when life throws a big block of shit at them. Be one of the few. Be strong. Never give up on life, because life’s a beautiful roller coaster ride and you have to enjoy it while it lasts. Because in the end, what matters most is that you tried. You did your best. And that alone, you beautiful soul, is more than enough.
