When You’re The Person Who Always Forgives The Wrong People

By

Mistakes are always going to be a part of our lives. From the wrong words we said, to the bad actions we have done that affects people all around us. Yet how can you describe the feeling of always forgiving other people who can’t apologize and admit the wrong things that they have done to you.

Those who scarred your heart. Those that gave you sleepless nights and a pair of red eyes. When you are the type of person who always chooses to understand even if it’s the hardest thing you could ever do in a situation that you can never erase from your mind. When you always lend a hand and accept apologies you have never received.

It’s like looking at an airplane peacefully flying in the sky. It’s like watching the waves go after they touched the shore. It’s like feeling the beauty of the sunset once it has kissed the ocean.

It’s like hearing a song you’ve never heard for ages. It’s like dancing to a tune that was tattooed on your heart. That’s how it feels.

When you are used to accepting people’s mistakes more than them embracing yours you know that no matter how many times you try to ignore it, or how many times you try to avoid it, in the end you’ll always do the same thing.

You’re always going to put your head up at the sky just to see that airplane. You’re always going to be mesmerized with the way waves crash on the sand beneath your feet. You’re always going to wait for the sun to set. You’re always going to recognize the lyrics of your favorite song. Your body will always move with the favorite beat of your soul.

And no matter how bad people have been to you, you’ll always find something about them that deserve your forgiveness.

You’re always going to let their mistakes go. Because you choose to look on what is beyond that meets the eyes.

You stare so deeply into their soul that even if they seemed to be dark on the outside, you only see the things that makes their soul shine.

That’s what made all the difference. Because no matter how many times you deny it, you have a heart that’s so kind it could light up the universe. You have an old soul that’s so tired of senseless arguments and misunderstandings.

This world needs a lot of you.

Please don’t get tired of being soft. Please be brave enough to spread kindness and positivity to each and every person you meet. Please be proud to show that a single star can still shine in the night sky even if the rest of its kind chose to hide.
