These adults from Ask Reddit share what they would tell the younger versions of themselves as they struggled with depression.

4. The depression never totally stops, but you learn to work through it. Just take a moment, take a breath, and keep moving forward in life. Otherwise, you’ll sit at this terrible dead end job that makes you miserable for 10 or so years of your life. Just keep moving and don’t ever give up. 6. Time will go much quicker than you think and once you leave high school you won’t ever see those assholes again.
