You Are Allowed To Say ‘No’

By

I often hear people talking about learning to say yes and learning to say no, but this is a different kind of lesson.

You should learn to say yes to your fear. Of course. Face your fears.

You should learn to say no when something is not working for you. Of course. Set your boundaries.

But this is a new lesson. One that deals with ambition.

It seems to be a lost art in the comfortability of today’s world. Be ambitious.

Never be comfortable. Say no to your bottom line.

When you ask yourself if you’ve fought hard enough, say no.

When someone comes back to you with an answer you can’t truthfully accept, say no.

When someone tells you that you can’t be who you want, say no.

When someone tells you that the world is flat, say no.

When someone tells you you’re not pretty enough, say no.

When someone tells you that you don’t have the credentials, say no.

When someone tells you you’ll never reach your full potential, say no.

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.

Put an end to self-defeating thoughts and terminology. We are only on this planet so long. Reach for the ethers.

“No,” I say. “No.”

The rules you hear in your day to day life are mind fabrications. Don’t get delusional.

But always remember that every barrier is built to be broken in the name of progression.
