We have to understand that we’re still discovering parts of ourselves, but that doesn’t mean we’re any less whole. We were never, are never incomplete. We are simply evolving.
You Are Not Incomplete
My twenties aren’t supposed to be my easiest years. They are supposed to be confusing. I am supposed to feel lost. I am supposed to wonder what the hell comes next.
You’ll know, because all of a sudden, where you thought there was only space left for you in your heart, there was him making his way in.
I’ll always be a work in progress but I’ll always be enough for the one who truly cares.
Do you miss me?
like you miss an old pair of jeans
the one you still keep nonetheless
once a favorite
now a misfit.
We need to reconfigure our minds from thinking that we are broken, lost, or doomed if we are not in a committed relationship.
The person you’re going to be with will not always make you feel comfortable. It will not always be easy.
In sleepless nights, I sing to you a song, however, incomplete
I’ll try to understand things you don’t want anyone to understand. I’ll try to understand you.
Let me know when you’ve become a complete person again,
because right now,
you are pieces.
