America is in deep trouble The federal government has been shut down for over two weeks and could easily hit its debt ceiling in less than 48 hours.
A long, brutal winter that was the warmest on record had settled over the lands. Mothers were clutching their baby bjorns. Fathers were also clutching their baby bjorns, except they made an Adam Sandler movie about it.
With all this attention being paid to the economy and The Fiscal Cliff, I thought it would be fun, if only for a momentary diversion, to give props to some other noteworthy “Cliffs.”
Everyone is becoming more partisan.
From Nixon to Obama, the federal government has spent more money every year than it has taken in. Future taxpayers are supposed to pick up the bill.
