Basically I’m asking for the return of TGIF, so that I may have an even better excuse to stay in on Friday nights with a box of pizza on my lap.

Pinch those pennies! Cut those coupons! Be highly conscious of your funds, convincing yourself that this paycheck WILL NOT be wasted.

While not every show was a hit, here’s the countdown of the 12 greatest TGIF shows ever made.

Before Friday nights were the place where television shows went to die slowly in front of very low ratings (Chuck, Prison Break, Ugly Betty, etc.), ABC’s TGIF was a block of elite programming that featured legendary lineups over the years.

While TGIF’s theme was designed to appeal to a broad demographic, SNICK’s pandered to kids. It was aspirational, and it made me have wet dreams about owning cable television and orange couches.

Given my social networking experience, which is extensive, I see a lot of status updates on Facebook. Without belaboring the point, here are the five most annoying categories of status updates, counting down to the single most upchuck-reflex inducing bile that gets spewed, Team America style, all over my newsfeed.
