It’s an ability that not everyone has. It is an intentional acquisition. A time-consuming, fervent practice. A decision-based ability that takes a heart.
Impress, appreciate, and never stop working on yourself.
My question is, why is spending time alone such a stigma? Why is doing things alone inescapably associated with being lonely?
Write, paint, do photography, build something, decorate your apartment, etc. There is nothing more cathartic than opening up and finding your voice in creative expression.
There’s something ultimately so comforting and refreshing about shared silences.
Pay your own bills. Or, if you can’t, learn to manage your finances.
